Gort Community Show:
The senior room attended the ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ performed by the pupils of Gort Community College. The play was fantastic and all who took part played their part brilliantly. The children really enjoyed the day.
Beauty and the Beast:
The whole school travelled to UL Limerick to watch the panto Beauty and the Beast, The children really enjoyed the day and the show was brilliant.
Christmas Nativity:
The children worked really hard preparing for their Christmas Nativity. Well done to all who took part on the night, saying their lines, singing songs, playing the concertina, tin whistle and guitar. It was a wonderful night and everyone enjoyed the show. Happy Christmas to all.
As part of our mini mock court debating whether Ireland should stay or remain in the Eu, the children got to try on a real Judge’s Wig. The children had lots of fun being barristers, judges, jury on and so on.
This week the children got to go to Gort Secondary School to see the musical ‘West Side’ which told the story of the modern Romeo and Juliet. Everyone involved did a brilliant job and the children really enjoyed their performances.
After all the hard work the children have being doing they got the chance to relax and attend the pantomime ‘Sleeping Beauty’ in Limerick University. Everyone had a great day out and thoroughly enjoyed the show.
The children worked very hard learning new songs, playing the tin whistles and much more for their Carol Service with Tubber National School. It was a great evening and all the children performed brilliantly. Lots of fun was had. We hope you enjoyed it too and thank you all very much for coming. The children also made lots of delicious scones for the refreshments which went down a treat.
The children got the chance to see the preschool’s Christmas Nativity. Everyone really enjoyed it and the small ones were fantastic.
This week the whole school got the chance to attend the play ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ preformed by the students of Gort Community School. The children really enjoyed the day and well done to all who took part, the show was absolutely brilliant.
Boston N.S. celebrated the arrival of Christmas through drama, music and dance as the children of Boston N.S. performed in their Christmas Concert. The audience were impressed with all the wonderful talent. Well done!
The Junior room got the chance to attend the play ‘The Three Little Pigs’ in the Dànlann an Chlàir in Colàiste Muire Ennis on Wednesday the 10th December. The children had a brilliant day out. They really enjoyed the show and had lots of fun taking part in helping the Three Little pigs escape the big bad wolf.
