School Origins
Boston National School, situated in the townland of Drumnadeevna has been educating children in the current school building since 1873.
There is evidence showing that education dates back to the mid 19th century. Prior to that, children were educated in four local hedge schools.
In October 2013 it celebrated its 140th anniversary.
