Super Day in Lahinch we were surfing, on the climbing wall and took part in archery. We visited the play ground, the shop and had time to play on the beach.
A great day had by all in Tubber GAA pitch for the Boston/Tubber Fun Day.
Congratulations to the boys hurling team who won the Schools Final today Tuesday 16th June, against Ballycar NewMarket. The Final was played in Cusack Park and there was some super displays of hurling from all schools. Thanks to everyone who came and supported a great day was had by all.
Boston N.S. & Tubber N.S. have a family fun day Sunday 21st of June 2015, we hope you can all join us in Tubber GAA pitch from 2 to 6pm. There will be a bouncy castle, races, wellie throwing, BBQ, magic show, puppet show and a children’s disco just to mention a few of the exciting and fun activites. PLEASE COME AND JOIN US!
Well done to the girls who took part in the semi final against Killaloe on Monday the 8th June. The girls fought really hard and tried their best but unfortunately they were not successful on the day.
Boston/Tubber/ New quay both reached the Cumann na MBunscol an Chlair semi-finals in Hurling and Camogie. WELL DONE! The boys have successfully secured a place in the Finals. After the matches the last day the children were fortunate enough to have Clare Hurler Patrick O’Connor speak to them and offer them advice.
Great displays of hurling by the children of Boston/ Tubber/ New Quay. They took part in the mini-sevens competition in both camogie and hurling.
Well done to the girls who took part in the basketball competition in Corofin on Monday the 9th of March. The girls joined up with Tubber N.S. and had three games against Inagh, Toonagh and Corofin N.S. The girls tried very hard and really enjoyed taking part.

The children enjoy PE and any opportunity to be active.
Boston N.S. & Tubber N.S participated in their first Gaelic Football Blitz in Crusheen on Wednesday 15th of October 2014. The girls really enjoyed their experience of playing Gaelic football. The girls had the opportunity to play Gaelic football against other teams in the county such as Crusheen and Kilnamona.
Boston N.S. and Tubber N.S. competed in the Boys Gaelic Football blitz against Mountshannon and Ballycar. Boston/Tubber were victorious in their first game against Mountshannon and in a highly competitive and exciting game drew with Ballycar. Boston/Tubber versus Mol an Oige Ennistymon in the semi-final, Boston/Tubber performed very well but were defeated despite their enthusiasm and energy.
Gymnastics is an exciting activity for the children to experience and fulfilling the requirements of the PE curriculum.
