Celebrating WB Yeats 150th Birthday- the children designed and constructed their 3 D interpretations of the local area inspired by WB Yeats and his love of Coole Park. The children attended the Lady Gregory hotel this morning the 9th of June 2015 and listened to the storyteller Niall Da Burca, a fantastic morning was had by all.
The children of Boston and Tubber N.S. celebrated the sacrament of Confirmation on Sunday 24th of May, the children constructed beautiful art and music for their special day.

The children presented their puppets and storybooks. They celebrated and admired each others hard work and creativity.

Boston N.S. children are working with the artist Sarah. The Senior room were developing their stories through paint and colour.
The Junior room have also been working with the artist Sarah. Over the last two Fridays they have got the chance to work with different types of puppets including finger/glove puppets and rod puppets. They have also begun to create their own real life puppets using different fabrics and heads. This week the children will get to focus on making their puppets’ head and bringing it to life by painting them and adding features such as eyes and mouths.

The children celebrated the holidays by making Christmas cookies in the school kitchen, followed by a party. Happy Christmas!!

It’s that time of year again and the children of Boston N.S. really got into the spirit of Christmas this week. The senior room worked together to decorate the Christmas Tree. The children had lots of fun and more importantly created a feeling of joy and happiness throughout the school which after all is the true meaning of Christmas. The senior room constructed snowmen using card, fabric, cotton wool and paper. They made Christmas cards and painted a winter scene.
The junior room also had the chance to get into the Christmas spirit by making their own snowman decorations.
The children in Boston N.S. embrace any opportunity to express themselves through art. For example,the children enter the Credit Union Art competition, and participate in the Burren Beo Winterage art display.
Boston N.S. has a Roman Catholics Ethos and during the month of November remember our loved ones that have passed away. The children have created a garden of remembrance.
The children prepared posters to remind the community of Boston N.S. we are against BULLYING.
The children created skeletons during science and projects with much information about our skeleton.
Some members of Boston community visit our school to support the children to develop the craft of knitting.
Boston N.S. worked with Mary upcycling materials to make Ghosts, bats and witches.
